As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for growing Music Brands through strategic sales activity, managing your sales pipeline, and engaging with new business prospects.

Responsibilities

Strategize on building the sales pipeline
Research qualified prospects using a consultative sales approach
Engage with and develop new business prospects through cold outreach
Maintain a consistent level of prospecting and lead qualifying activity
Build, manage, and maintain sales pipeline and sales activities in CRM
Create and nurture relationships with prospects and customers
Practice empathetic persistence in your approach to communicate with, educate, and listen to prospective customers
Manage scheduling and conferencing tools to communicate effectively
Support the sales team with administrative tasks that support and accelerate sales
Track company and individual performance and progress toward targets

Required

Prior sales experience, preferably managing a sales pipeline in B2B SaaS
Understanding of EdTech and Music EdTech
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to display a sense of urgency and priority within your work
Excellent probing and listening skills with the ability to assess a prospect's ‘fit'
Previous experience balancing working independently with minimal supervision and working collaboratively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills
Degrees are not required and we value all forms of continued education including traditional four-year degrees, post-graduate degrees, associates degrees, bootcamps, online training, professional certifications, self-teaching and more

Preferred

Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or marketing position
Experience with HubSpot
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to deliver results
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to identify opportunities and to develop and implement effective sales strategies
