CrowdPlat is seeking an experienced Network Security & Cybersecurity Analyst to support an ongoing public-sector security initiative. The role focuses on securing enterprise networks and systems, evaluating existing cybersecurity tools and controls, and supporting risk reduction efforts across a large organization.

Responsibilities

Monitor and protect enterprise networks and information systems against security threats, cyber-attacks, and unauthorized access

Install, administer, troubleshoot, and maintain security tools, hardware, and software

Apply system and security updates, patches, and upgrades to maintain compliance and reduce vulnerabilities

Evaluate existing cybersecurity tools, controls, and processes to identify gaps and security risks

Develop and implement recommendations and risk-reduction plans to improve security posture

Investigate security incidents and assist with remediation and prevention strategies

Develop, update, and maintain network and system security documentation

Design and deliver project artifacts such as project plans, status reports, briefings, presentations, and stakeholder communications

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify security gaps, and resolve complex issues

Conduct research, interviews, meetings, and workshops to assess organizational needs and improvement opportunities

Perform quality reviews and editing of technical documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy

Support basic project management activities including scope tracking, risk management, communication planning, and progress reporting
