Administrative Supervisor (Non-Merit)

Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking an Administrative Supervisor to provide direct supervision over employees within the Construction and Inspection Section. The role involves managing the state ISR program, performing infrastructure inspections, and supervising administrative functions in support of various offices and sections.

Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the state ISR (Installation Status Report) program to include infrastructure, services, service cost and natural infrastructure through data collection, data capture, quality control compliance and follow up
Provides support to each office, section, directorate in the state with system management of the ISR program
Visits armories and Field Maintenance Shops(FMS) and training locations across the state to perform ISR infrastructure inspections as required by ISR criteria
Supervises and, or, assist all efforts at Army National Guard (ARNG) training sites to conduct facility infrastructure inspections
Requests employees to work OT, approves leave, eval employee performance and counsels employees on work related problems
Verifies data for accuracy, quality and timeliness input into the ISR program from each appropriate directorate within the state and ARNG training sites
Performs trend analysis of all activities associated with services and makes recommendations based upon the analysis
Prepares reports on the delivery and service based costing for the performance, pacing measures, fulltime equivalents (FTEs) and resources for 108 services including but not limited to fire and safety services, acquisitions, information technology, logistics and engineering
Serves as the link between the subject matter experts at National Guard Bureau (NGB) to their counterparts in the state

Required

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree
Four years of professional administrative experience
A master's degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience
Additional administrative, business or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis
