Embark Behavioral Health is hiring an experienced behavioral health outreach professional to help families access life-changing adolescent mental health care. As the Business Development Representative, you’ll focus on building referral relationships with hospitals, schools, and mental health providers to support enrollment for our Scottsdale program and virtual services.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, mental health professionals, treatment centers, schools, and community organizations while serving as a trusted expert in mental health placement

Meet weekly engagement targets to drive consistent pipeline growth

Work with admissions teams and referral partners to meet quarterly enrollment goals and guide families through the placement process

Track referral targets, document engagement, and manage resources to support clinic operations

Attend conferences, industry events, and site visits to expand referral networks and stay current on behavioral health trends

Ensure clear, compelling communication of Embark’s mission and services

Participate in weekly video meetings to align on strategy

Required

A Bachelor's degree or higher

Minimum of 2–3 years in business development or sales in the Behavioral or Mental Health industry, or related

Candidates must be based in the Scottsdale/ Phoenix Metro area

Use a personal vehicle for frequent business travel

Prioritizes tasks effectively, avoids last-minute decisions, and focuses on team goals

Remains poised under pressure and excels in one-on-one, group, public speaking, and written communication

Demonstrates a proven track record of success
