Responsibilities
Interviewing, hiring, coaching, supervising, motivating, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining Sales Consultants
Identifying training and procedural needs to increase sales productivity; making recommendations to Store Manager and implementing necessary changes
Reviewing and analyzing sales reports to monitor the productivity level of Sales Consultants and ensuring that all budgeted sales goals are met
Responding to escalated customer service issues and resolving problems
Monitoring sales floor to ensure all guests are being assisted by sales personnel
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years combined sales and management in high volume major retailer or equivalent education/experience
Ability to motivate, lead and direct others
Solid understanding of product knowledge as it pertains to the furniture industry
Sound judgment and decision-making skills
Basic computer proficiency
Effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
