Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for the pods existing advertising clients
Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding client objectives and aligning Valnet’s media solutions to meet their goals
Provide strategic recommendations to maximize performance and strengthen partnerships
Lead the development of RFP responses, ensuring proposals are strategic, customized, and compelling
Partner with Pod Leads, Account Executives and internal stakeholders to craft client-facing decks that highlight Valnet’s capabilities, campaign opportunities, and performance narratives
Maintain and update sales collateral to reflect the latest media offerings and success stories
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of advertising campaigns, from proposal to post-campaign reporting in partnership with sales and ad ops
Collaborate with internal teams (Ad Ops, Creative, Editorial, Analytics) to ensure campaigns launch on time and perform against KPIs
Monitor pacing, performance, and delivery; optimize campaigns proactively to achieve client objectives
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand client investment across Valnet’s platforms
Partner with Pod Leads and Account Executives to renew campaigns and secure incremental revenue opportunities
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activity, and new ad products to bring fresh insights to clients
Deliver clear, data-driven reports and insights to clients, highlighting performance, learnings, and future recommendations
Track campaign results against benchmarks and provide actionable optimizations
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing on best practices and performance learnings

Required

2-10 years of experience in digital advertising, media sales, or account management
Strong understanding of digital media ecosystems (programmatic, branded content, video, display, social)
Interest in developing into a more sales-oriented role in the future, with motivation to take on client-facing growth opportunities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data into actionable insights
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
