Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant
LHH is a well-established and high-performing law practice, and they are seeking a Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling complex commercial transactions. The role involves managing legal files, drafting documents, coordinating due diligence, and communicating with various stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions.
Responsibilities
Manage and organize files for commercial purchases, sales, development, and financing matters
Draft and prepare legal documents including leases, amendments, estoppels, SNDAs, commitments, closing binders, and general correspondence
Coordinate due diligence: title, survey, UCCs, entity documents, insurance, and escrow materials
Maintain calendars, deadlines, and support billing/timekeeper processes
Communicate with clients, lenders, brokers, and vendors to keep transactions moving smoothly
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years as a Legal Assistant
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and deal teams
Preferred
commercial real estate background strongly preferred
Experience with billing or time entry systems is a plus
