CEO Peer Board Leader
Leading Peers is seeking experienced Board Leaders based in Florida to facilitate CEO peer advisory boards across the state. The role involves creating a trusted environment for business owners and CEOs to engage in peer accountability and strategic discussions.
Responsibilities
Facilitate a monthly, 3.5-hour CEO peer board meeting for up to eight members, primarily in person, following Leading Peers’ proven methodology
Guide peer-to-peer dialogue around business growth, leadership challenges, and strategic decision-making
Establish and reinforce peer accountability by helping members clearly define priorities, commitments, and next actions, and by ensuring follow-up in subsequent meetings
Maintain a safe, confidential, and high-trust environment where senior leaders can challenge one another constructively
Support the growth of your boards by helping recruit and onboard qualified new members
Coordinate and conduct candidate interviews in collaboration with your peer boards
Receive training and ongoing support on how to start new boards and recruit, onboard, and retain members in order to maximize autonomy, impact, and long-term income as a Board Leader
Qualification
Required
Exceptional listening, facilitation, and group-dynamics skills
Ability to synthesize complex business situations and communicate insight clearly and concisely
Firsthand experience as a business owner or CEO
Currently active as a business consultant, trainer, or executive coach
Experience leading teams within a growing organization
Strong passion for helping CEOs grow as leaders
High emotional intelligence, discretion, and professional judgment
This role is open only to candidates based in Florida
Board Leaders must be willing and able to lead both in-person and virtual boards
Leading Peers is not seeking Board Leaders who only want to lead online boards or only want to lead in-person boards
Preferred
Leadership experience across multiple businesses and/or industries
Five or more years as CEO of a company with annual revenues of at least $1M
