The Global Business Development Analyst will support the ideation and execution of international league partnerships and arena development, with an emphasis on launching the NBA's new league in Europe.

Responsibilities

Support concept development and project/deal flow generation by combining creative thinking with a deep understanding of industry trends, relevant third-party stakeholders, and the NBA’s strategic priorities around the globe

Manage high-priority global projects, leading the coordination between multiple offices, groups, and executives, and providing necessary analytical support

Develop robust business plans and investment cases, including financial models, due diligence reports, and other analytical and qualitative support

Support execution of strategic partnerships, including partner diligence, go‑to‑market planning, and KPI definitions

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to a broad range of senior internal and external constituents

Required

BA/BS degree required

Minimum 2-5 years of management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, and/or other comparable experience

Outstanding quantitative, financial, research, modeling, and problem-solving skills

Deep knowledge of the Sports, Entertainment, Media and Technology industries

Innovative and entrepreneurial-minded thinker who is willing to challenge the status quo and pursue ambitious ideas

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to communicate with and influence Senior Level Executives both inside and outside the organization

Strong leadership and project management skills

Ability to recognize patterns and spot issues

Proactive, self-starter who can work independently within set objectives

Experience working and multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Excellent negotiation skills

Preferred

professional experience in arena/stadium, ticketing, mixed-use and/or commercial real estate is a plus

experience working in European markets is a plus
