The Project Administrator will proactively manage projects while maintaining overall project profitability and a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities
Communicate shipping updates to the customer weekly, at a minimum
Notify necessary parties of changes, errors, or exceptions
Review each project with Quotations Specialist to understand scope of work and project requirements
Communicate directly with customers to review project including details, exceptions, and completion date
Release orders in JMS detailing any exceptions including freight
Maintain Purchase Order financial worksheet to ensure proper project closeout and maximize profitability
Create ship schedule following the process making sure to include all Bills of Material
Maintain communication with Outside Sales and the customer
Send customer ship schedule with notes of ‘Hold for Release’
Work with operations regarding logistics for managing jobs
Participate in joint sales calls to understand customer needs
Market project management capabilities internally and externally
Manage financials, run invoice register, reconcile, and update customer
Request Record Drawings from Manufacturer or Rep
Process O & M per Purchase Order requirements
Participate in pre-job and project review meetings
Attend vendor classes and factory visits
Engage in Lifelong Learning activities and meet yearly requirements
Performs other duties as obvious or assigned
Adhere to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies
Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility
Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed
Support all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your branch
Qualification
Required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Professional phone manners
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience in effective conflict resolution
High School Diploma required
