Supply Chain Labor & Performance Analyst

Responsibilities
Conduct engineered time studies across diverse product categories (e.g., solar panels, breakers, wire)
Maintain SKU-level standards for processing times and validate through on-site observations
Cycle standards across the enterprise account for building design and product mix differences
Create a program that maintains the process
Track and report enterprise-wide productivity metrics, with focus on Lines per Man Hour (LPMH)
Measure both RF activity (lines per hour) and non-RF activity via supplemental methods
Provide insights into root causes of performance variances
Create a tracking program for activities complete outside RF
Establish productivity goals by operating company (LPMH targets) aligned with industry standards
Facilitate performance reviews with OPCO leaders to drive accountability
Build benchmarking models comparing OPCO performance to peers and industry norms
Develop labor models to determine FTEs per department (inbound, outbound, replenishment, specialty) new distribution center for investment committee
Support greenfield and expansion planning with workforce projections
Recommend optimized headcount distribution and shift models
Build and maintain dashboards showing Daily activity by department
Productivity metrics (LPMH, utilization, downtime)
Recommended headcount allocations
Provide executive-level reporting on enterprise labor performance
Partner with Operations, Finance, and IT on data capture, reporting, and forecasting
Train supervisors and managers to interpret standards and productivity reports
Support adoption of continuous improvement practices (Lean, 5S, Kaizen)
Qualification
Required
5+ years in labor standards, industrial engineering, or workforce planning within supply chain operations
Bachelors Degree in industrial engineering, or workforce planning within supply chain operations
Strong background in time studies, productivity metrics and labor modeling
Proficiency in WMs, LMS, RF Systems, and reporting rolls (Excel, Power BI)
Exceptional communication and enterprise-level influencing skills
This position requires 50% travel to operating companies and distribution centers across the Sonepar enterprise to conduct on-site time studies, validate standards, and align productivity goals with local leadership
