Mid LevelThe Poet Speaks is a cultural TV series seeking a Funding & Strategic Partnerships Lead to assist in capital acquisition for Season 2. The role involves leading outreach to funders and partners, identifying funding opportunities, and shaping funding strategies to ensure the series is fully funded.

Responsibilities
Lead outreach to funders, foundations, sponsors, institutional partners, and capital partners
Identify, pursue and capture grants, corporate sponsorships, angel partners, and philanthropic funding
Help shape funding decks, sponsorship tiers, and capital strategy (in collaboration with me and the production team)
Act as a key partner in moving Season 2 from greenlit → fully funded
Qualification
Required
Experience in fundraising, partnerships, sponsorships, or arts/culture financing
Strong communicator and relationship-builder
Self-directed, strategic, and confident pitching projects
Preferred
Familiarity with media, film, TV, public broadcasting, humanities, or cultural institutions is a strong plus
