Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of digital hardware systems, including high-speed circuit boards and embedded platforms
Own the full board design lifecycle: requirements definition, schematic capture, component selection, PCB layout guidance, bring-up, and validation
Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis for high-speed digital interfaces (DDR, Ethernet, USB, etc.)
Design power supplies including switch-mode power supplies, DC/DC converters, and linear regulators
Integrate and validate analog-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analog (DAC) converters in mixed-signal board designs
Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure form-factor and thermal compliance
Partner with manufacturing teams to transition designs from prototype through pilot builds into volume production, addressing DFM/DFT considerations and supply chain challenges
Drive board bring-up, debugging, and root-cause analysis of hardware issues using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
Generate documentation including design specifications, test plans, and compliance reports
Mentor junior engineers and review peer designs to ensure best practices and reliability
Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to design processes and tools
