Senior Regional Solutions Architect - GSI

They are seeking a Senior Regional Solutions Architect who will work with Global Systems Integrator clients and partners, focusing on driving strategic deals and establishing technical credibility to enhance business outcomes.

Responsibilities
Drive strategic deals within existing GSI accounts and Pure white space accounts
Define the end to end solution (including the industry and business approach, implementation methods, technology usage, business and IT processes) and influence the commercial and financial models
Establish technical credibility with existing and prospective partners/clients; providing the ability to cultivate relationships and envision creative sales and solution strategies that generate additional revenue
Work cross functionally with the Global Solution Architect, Pure’s line-of-business and product teams to drive relevant product features, integrations, and solutions
Establish technical credibility and cultivate/maintain relationships with existing and prospective partners/clients
Devise sales / solution strategies generating additional and new revenue streams
Stay current on technology trends, including the best of breed technology and industry trends relevant to the partner’s and customer's vertical market. Important to be familiar with the leaders and disruptors in their peer group
Understand the business and benefits delivered by the proposed solution. To improve delivery and adoption, provide input to key change program components. Identify and share items that are not aligned with the evolving solution
Guide the sales team in proposing and delivering the best solution in an evolving hyper-competitive environment
Become a trusted advisor and collaborative part of the sales, engineering, and product management ecosystem
Identify key trends and map customer challenges/needs to Pure Storage’s technology strategy
Inspire excitement (internally and externally) around the company's long-term vision
Mentor and provide guidance to other SA’s
Build and maintain partner capabilities through the delivery of enablement sessions
Assist in marketing activities (e.g, roadshows / local events and webinars)
Actively create social media content (e.g. blogs, posts, etc)
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in technical leadership expertise
Product experience across technology vendors within the specific region
Outstanding communication skills including written, verbal, and diagrammatic. Demonstrate the ability to simplify ideas for a non-technical and technical audience
Strong technical prowess, including good working knowledge of storage, compute, database, networking, virtualization and emerging technologies (e.g., Cloud Native, Modern Virtualization AI/ML and/or Big Data Analytics). Collaboration in the community and on social media is an advantage
Combine big-thinking strategic perspective with a detail-oriented problem solving
Entrepreneurial, ambitious approach coupled with a strong passion to make a difference
Strong executive presence and ability to evangelize on a wide range of topics
Work collaboratively across the broader Pure Storage organization
Proficient in driving for results, with a high degree of accountability. Able to change focus and pace to match dynamically-evolving hyper-competitive environment
