Responsibilities
Technical information security systems management including - but not limited to - endpoint protection; application control; email security; firewalls; vulnerability management; data loss prevention; cloud security services; security information and event management
Manage firmwide Cybersecurity incident response program management
Manage vulnerability management program and technology risk management program
Provide subject matter expertise on information security matters to Calamos technologists, business associates, managers, and executives
Develop and maintain business relationships with managed and/or professional information security services firms
Lead information security projects and enhancement efforts
Contribute to development of Calamos information security awareness program
Contribute to development of Calamos information security policies, standards, and procedures
Provide input to the development of Calamos information security strategy and other cybersecurity and technology planning efforts
Stay abreast of relevant information security threats, news, and technologies
Respond to high-severity security alerts that may occur off-hours - including nights or weekends
Respond to escalated cybersecurity help desk tickets and participate in disaster recovery planning activities
Perform related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent is required
Minimum of 8 years of professional information security or cybersecurity experience is required. Experience and interest in financial services is required
Interest in financial services industry and demonstrable passion for technology is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Preferred
Technical or professional certifications are preferred
Advanced degree in Information Security or equivalent is desirable
Minimum one year's experience managing delivery of cybersecurity services in an enterprise environment is desirable
Minimum two years' professional experience in financial services or business consulting industry is highly preferred
Firewall administration / management experience and Cyber incident management experience is preferred
Project management experience with the ability to successfully complete projects on time and within budget is preferred
Experience with Microsoft technologies including Defender, Entra, Intune, Sentinel, and Azure strongly preferred
