Responsibilities
Translate business needs into actionable insights through synthesis and distillation of complex data
Balance trade-offs between speed, cost and impact in developing methodologies to address business questions
Deliver storytelling & synthesis: Visualization of complex data-driven insights with business context to deliver relevant data-informed decision-making
Persuasively communicate insights and tailor messaging to stakeholders at all levels to ensure work is aligned to stakeholder needs
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of data sources and methodologies
Independently identify and propose analytics/insights solutions to address key business questions
Adept across multiple data and technical platforms (e.g. POS dashboards, consumer panels, retail analytics platforms)
Understanding of coding languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and usage of analytics tools (e.g., Databricks, Github, Snowflake, Tableau)
Will mentor peers and contribute to decisions within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in consumer insights, business analytics, strategy or related field, or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training
5+ years' experience working in consumer and marketplace insights and analytics. Experience in product and/or retail data and metrics preferred
Demonstrated ability to partner on cross-functional teams supporting strategy across an organization, including stakeholder engagement
Ability to solve complex issues, including problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
Compelling, high-impact data and insights storyteller with a track record for engaging stakeholders and delivering results
Curiosity, ability to self-start and willingness to learn new technical skills
