Responsibilities
Configure and optimize nCino modules (for example: Commercial/SME Loan Origination, Deposits, Online Account Opening, Collateral, Covenant, Workflow)
Design and maintain nCino UI Groups, Routes, Product Packages, Screens, Page Layouts, validation rules, and approval processes
Translate business requirements and user stories into detailed configuration designs and configuration work in nCino/Salesforce
Configure nCino workflows, tasking, document checklists, conditions, and milestones to support end to end lending and onboarding journeys
Set up and maintain nCino data model elements (custom objects, fields, relationships) aligned with Salesforce best practices and bank data standards
Collaborate with integration and Salesforce teams to design and support integrations with core banking systems, credit bureaus, pricing engines, e signature (for example, DocuSign), and document generation tools
Support environment and release management: manage configuration across sandboxes and production, coordinate deployments, and perform post release validation
Develop and execute functional, regression, and UAT test cases for nCino configuration and integrations; troubleshoot defects and issues
Provide Level 2/3 support for nCino, including issue analysis, root cause identification, and sustainable fixes
Create and maintain configuration documentation, data dictionaries, process flows, and admin runbooks
Train and support business users, power users, and admins on new features, processes, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4-5 years hands on experience configuring nCino on Salesforce
Strong Salesforce admin skills: objects, fields, page layouts, record types, profiles/permission sets, validation rules, flows, and basic automation
Deep understanding of commercial / retail / SME lending processes, credit workflows, and banking products
Experience working in structured SDLC/Agile environments with user stories, sprint ceremonies, and backlog management
Ability to read and work with basic Apex, SOQL, and Flow logic (even if not a full developer), to troubleshoot and collaborate with dev teams
Strong analytical and problem solving skills; able to translate business needs into configuration patterns
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with product owners, relationship managers, operations, risk, and IT
Preferred
nCino certifications (for example, nCino Administrator / Implementation certifications) and Salesforce Administrator / Platform App Builder certifications
Experience with enterprise integration tools and patterns (APIs, ETL, middleware) in a banking environment
Background in commercial banking, corporate lending, or credit risk
Experience in regulated financial environments with an understanding of compliance, audit, and data security expectations
