Responsibilities
Billing of purchase orders for and investigation of: - Deliveries
Scrap Billing (Reconciliation of scrap) and Consignments (Few accounts we stock them with Inventory/product and we bill them for that product)
Management of indirect PO’s for the Houston branch
Work Effectively with all departments for maximum efficiency and return on investment in a safe environment
Responsible for managing office supplies
Interacts directly with Customers, Vendors, and Employees as required
Verifies accuracy of billing and order data, correcting any errors
Generates shipping labels and billing documents
Perform data entry into spreadsheets as required – credit and scrap edits go into logs
Assist other departments with projects or tasks as needed
Participate and complete all required training activities
Ensure a safe and clean work environment is always maintained
Identify areas for continuous improvement for all duties
Perform all other duties as assigned or directed
Qualification
Required
Good communication skills
Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changes as well as maintain a high level of attention to detail
Must have strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills and be able to prioritize work
Ability to work independently and identify and solve problems
Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform computer-related tasks
Occasionally lift and move boxes or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
