Compensation Manager

Responsibilities
Responsible without oversight for all job analysis & evaluations for positions up to mid-management levels. Responsible with oversight for all job analysis & evaluations for positions above mid-management. Works with HR Business Partners and line management to ensure in depth understanding of the jobs, accountability matrix and reporting relationships. Support creation of career paths
Manage compensation projects and topics as assigned in collaboration with external consultants, compensation managers, HR Business Partners from all Human Pharma OPUs in the U.S
Support AD, Compensation with benchmarking exercises across the Human Pharma business to help ensure positions are matched appropriately, and the market data is reflected accurately for all positions. Review benchmarks on an annual basis to ensure they remain relevant, and work through solutions with the business when required
Support job offers for the Human Pharma business across multiple Talent Acquisition teams. Handle all offers up to mid-management without complex calculations (equity/sign-on), and partner on all offers mid-management and above
Other compensation duties as assigned to include support of compensation cycle, support of the international mobility team, and creation of presentation and training materials
Qualification
Required
Requires a minimum of 6+ years of experience in project management, or compensation, or Human Resources and comprehensive understanding of compensation practices, programs and plans
Individual must possess a strong business and / or financial background and strong analytical skills
Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to compensation
Microsoft Excel (also Powerpoint, Word and Office)
Ability to communicate (verbal / written) in a direct, concise manner
Ability to interact with professionals at all levels
Strong influencing ability
Excellent project management skills
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
