Responsibilities

Provide hydraulic engineering support for natural gas pipeline operations

Perform gas flow modeling and hydraulic simulations using industry-standard software

Support Gas Control, Scheduling, and outage coordination activities

Troubleshoot operational hydraulic issues and recommend solutions

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and reliable system operations

Document, analyze, and report findings to internal stakeholders

Maintain effective communication and build strong working relationships across departments

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering

6+ years of experience in hydraulic engineering within the oil & gas pipeline industry

Strong understanding of natural gas pipeline systems and gas flow

Broad knowledge of hydraulic simulation principles

Experience with one or more of the following software programs: FlowDesk, NextGen, WinFlow, Synergi Gas

Strong skills in problem solving, critical thinking, scenario analysis, and prioritization

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work issues through to resolution independently

Preferred

Professional Engineering (PE) designation

Familiarity with SCADA systems

Experience supporting Gas Control, Scheduling, outage coordination, or Design functions

Prior exposure to large-scale pipeline operations and system assets
