Senior LevelWhirr Crew s.r.o. is looking for an experienced PHP Developer to contribute to the design, development, and long-term evolution of backend systems and software products. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based backend applications
Contribute to system architecture, including application structure, data models, and integration patterns
Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services
Make technical decisions that ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability
Review code and provide architectural and technical guidance to other developers
Collaborate closely with product owners, frontend developers, and DevOps teams
Participate in technical discussions, estimations, and solution design
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in PHP (7/8)
Hands-on experience with modern frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel
Solid understanding of OOP principles, MVC, and design patterns
Experience designing and working with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience contributing to or defining application architecture in medium to large-scale systems
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
Experience with DDD, microservices, or modular monolith architectures
