Behavior Technician RBT Monday-Friday 3:30 PM-7:30 PM

WonDIRful Play is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home, community-based, or daycare services for children with developmental disabilities. The RBT will implement individualized behavior plans, collect detailed data, and use positive reinforcement techniques to enhance the client’s quality of life while collaborating with families and the clinical team.

Responsibilities

Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy in-home, in the community, or at a daycare center
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA
Accurately collect and record data on client behavior and progress
Collaborate with the BCBA regarding client care
Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for the client
Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate interactions with clients and their families

Qualification

Required

Must be RBT certified or willing to become certified (We provide resources for RBT certification if not currently certified)
Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (due to the physical nature of the role and potential to assist clients with mobility)
Ability to kneel, sit, stand, and move around frequently during sessions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for community and in-home services)
Ability to pass a background check
Adherence to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and data protection
Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding child welfare and mandatory reporting
Physical ability to assist with safety protocols, including lifting or moving clients when needed

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Basic knowledge of ABA principles preferred but not required (training will be provided)
