Responsibilities
Providing legal representation to Progressive or clients, you’ll handle cases from beginning to end
As a manager, you’ll also make employment decisions, handle performance management, monitor the department budget, make compensation decisions and develop employees
Qualification
Required
Juris doctor degree or Master of Laws (LLM) and a minimum of five years general/auto civil litigation experience
Admitted to practice law in Ohio
This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance
This position requires compliance with Progressive's driving standards and/or policies
Candidates must reside within the state of Ohio
Preferred
Experience handling all aspects of litigation, including expert discovery and trial, in moderate to high complexity lawsuits
Thorough understanding and working knowledge of medical and other technical information
Thorough understanding and excellent working knowledge of applicable laws and rules (e.g. evidence, civil procedure, trial practice, and tort)
Ability to execute organizational strategy
Proven communication and leadership qualities with ability to work within a team-base environment
