ECORP Consulting, Inc. is seeking several highly motivated professionals for the role of CEQA/NEPA Environmental Planner/Project Manager. The role involves managing and preparing CEQA and NEPA documents, conducting impact analysis, and overseeing business development and client care while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on various projects throughout California.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with ECORP’s multidisciplinary staff of environmental planners, biologists, archaeologists, paleontologists, air quality/greenhouse gas specialists, and noise/energy specialists to identify project requirements and develop solutions to meet federal, state, and local environmental regulations

Prepare and manage environmental documentations for a wide variety of projects

Identify and develop new business opportunities, prepare practical proposals, and actively develop new business with new and existing clients

Train and mentor staff on CEQA/NEPA and other planning/environmental requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, or a related field

Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the CEQA process and California environmental and regulatory setting

Excellent writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills

5+ years of experience preparing CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, with 1+ years of experience managing projects

8+ years of experience preparing CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, with 3+ years of experience managing projects

Preferred

Experience with CEQA, NEPA, CEQA-Plus compliance, Caltrans requirements, resource agency (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and Regional Water Quality Control Board) permitting

AICP certification
