The Information Services Intern will provide exceptional customer support, manage the IS ticketing system, and assist with technical issues related to computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer support and service for first call resolution
Responsible for accurate, timely and detailed recording of issues in the IS ticketing system
Perform imaging, configuring, deploying, modifying, and troubleshooting computer hardware/software at the desktop level
Provide ongoing technical assistance to users on system setups or modifications
Assist with researching, applying and implementing information privacy and security standards
Create and run reports
Provide project management assistance: scheduling, producing meeting minutes, creating project plan outlines, entering data
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a two or four year technical or business degree program
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Interpersonal skills necessary to work collaboratively
Ability to interact effectively with clients having a broad range of computer knowledge and ability
Ability to work as a team member
Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position
Preferred
3 months experience administrative or scheduling duties
3 months experience in providing technical and customer support
3 months experience configuring MS Office applications, Microsoft operating systems, and PCs and printers
