They are seeking a Lab Assistant I who will collect blood samples from patients for laboratory testing and perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws.

Qualification

Required

Current Phlebotomy Certificate CPT I issued by the California Department of Public Health
College science courses
Previous laboratory experience
Must be able to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment
Basic computer skills
Must be aware of chemical hygiene protocols, and handling requirements of biohazard materials
Must know and follow all universal precautions and be familiar with blood drawing safety devices
Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential
Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position
