Woodward, Inc. is committed to creating a great workplace and is hiring multiple Mechanical Technicians to support their Systems Test Facility operations on 2nd shift. The role involves assembling components, troubleshooting issues, conducting tests, and suggesting process improvements while providing leadership to entry-level technicians.

Responsibilities

Assemble components and systems with increasing complexity. Modify and/or repair components under minimal supervision. Assist in troubleshooting issues

Identify and propose solutions for moderately complex issues with components or systems. Collaborate with stakeholders and implement solution

Conduct moderately complex tests on components and systems with some independence. Record and analyze test results and provide preliminary findings to engineering teams

Suggest improvements to existing processes or tools based on hands-on experience. Participate in creating or updating process documentation

Act as a resource for entry-level technicians by guiding them on basic tasks and safety procedures

Required

Experience performing assembly and testing of fuel system components in an aerospace industry

Proficiency in fabrication techniques

Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical systems

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities

A&P License

Ability to stand for entire shift

Moderate physical activity requires agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds

Ability to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations

Must be a U.S. Person within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce
