They are seeking a Production Helper to assist with production operations, including positioning materials and supporting machine operators under close supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform helper’s work having to do with production operations and processing such as position light weight materials on conveyor or feed mechanism for continuous processing, or position and/or remove materials to assist Machine Operator, supply containers, light raw materials or perform other like work. Instructions given on work procedures. Under close supervision

Inspects, cleans and packages manifolds and other parts

Assists machine operator by running machine after set-up

Assists operator by placing or removing finished parts from machine

Inspects and packages parts

May perform clean-up duties as needed

Qualification

High school diplomaRead instructionsBasic math skillsCommon sense reasoningAdaptability

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

One to three months related experience and/or training

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Ability to write simple correspondence

Ability to effectively present information to others

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions

Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

Must be able to work in any department as needed

Must be able to learn a variety of duties

The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel parts and/or controls; reach with hands and arms to operate machine and/or to place pieces in machine or remove them for packing; and talk or hear

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
