They are seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to support the Quality team in ensuring that purchased materials and components meet required specifications while gaining hands-on exposure to quality processes and data analysis.

Responsibilities
Support Incoming inspection activities including reviewing drawings and specifications
Assist Quality Engineers with supplier issues, including root cause and corrective actions
Track supplier performance metrics
Support engineering teams with FAI’s
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts reducing defects from suppliers
Assist with defect data analytics and material to be presented by engineers
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations and Engineering
Participate and interact with other interns in sector wide activities
Develop understanding of our Quality Management System
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in an accredited technical Bachelor's degree program (but not limited to): Hardware – Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, Mathematics, Physics, Information Systems, Quality Management
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Electronics Assemblies
Outstanding communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership experience
Capacity and motivation for hard work
Experience in defense electronics industry
Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma practices
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
Relevant quality certifications
Technical internships/co-ops
Exposure to ISO 9001, CMMI, or AS9100
