Amphenol Communications Solutions is a leader in interconnect solutions for various electronics markets. They are seeking a Development Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in product R&D, mechanical design, testing, and documentation.

HardwareManufacturing

Responsibilities

Engineering build / manual assembly of prototypes

3D modeling and engineering drawings utilizing CAD

Supporting mechanical and electrical lab testing

Documentation of test results and presentations

Component / assembly quality inspection

Interfacing with other engineering disciplines in the design and manufacturing process of interconnect products

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringPro-ESolidworksFinite Element AnalysisTeamworkCommunication Skills

Required

Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering program, Sophomore or above

Experience in Pro-E or Solidworks

Ability to communicate with technical & non-technical people

Ability to work in team environment

Preferred

Experience with Finite Element Analysis tools desirable
