Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino is committed to providing exceptional service and meaningful experiences to its guests. The Front Office Host is responsible for assisting guests with check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries while maintaining high standards of hospitality and service.

Responsibilities

Welcome and register guests, providing exceptional service throughout their stay
Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently using the hotel’s property management system
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism and care
Manage cash, credit, and room charge transactions accurately
Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Bell Desk, etc.) to ensure a seamless guest experience
Answer and route phone calls and messages in a courteous and timely manner
Maintain a working knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests effectively
Uphold Hyatt’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest engagement at the Front Desk

Qualification

Customer service experienceOpera system proficiencyVerbal communication skillsWritten communication skillsFlexible schedule

Required

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Strong computer skills; prior experience with Opera or similar systems is a plus
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Preferred

Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
