$107K/yr - $107K/yrJLL is seeking an Operating Engineer to maintain and monitor critical infrastructure systems in a 24/7 operational environment. The role involves ensuring optimal performance of essential equipment through inspections, preventative maintenance, and incident response.

Responsibilities
Perform site inspections and monitor equipment alarms across critical infrastructure systems
Investigate, mitigate and escalate incidents promptly to minimize operational disruption
Execute preventative maintenance on HVAC and plumbing equipment or supervise vendor activities
Perform and monitor repairs and corrective maintenance conducted by outside vendors
Investigate and resolve HVAC and plumbing service requests from facility users
Complete routine work requests and maintenance tasks as assigned
Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper system operation
Respond to emergency situations and work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Comply with all company policies regarding safety and ethics
Qualification
Required
Previous data center or critical environment experience
Comprehensive knowledge of critical infrastructure including UPS systems, generators, ATS units, BMS, HVAC and fire protection systems
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manual dexterity for climbing, stooping, and equipment handling
Certificate of Qualification issued by FDNY for Refrigeration Systems Operator
Fire Systems Impairment Fire Guard (F-01) certification
Flexibility to work any assigned shift in 24/7 operations and respond to emergencies as required
Preferred
Additional HVAC or facilities management certifications
Experience with building management systems and automated monitoring platforms
