Faribault School District is seeking an After School Program Site Assistant to support the Community School Coordinator in enhancing academic and enrichment programs for youth and families. The role involves interacting with students and families, assisting in program planning, and maintaining data privacy while ensuring a positive educational experience.

Education Management

Responsibilities

Interacts with students and families to enhance and support the student’s education and enrichment experience and ensure success
Collects and maintains relevant data daily
Upholds data privacy and security
Speaks directly with parents and students
Assists in the planning and implementation of school-age activities
Provides support to Community School staff
Attends community events/festivals/meetings/workshops facilitated by schools and community organizations that help drive student interest and achievement
Works daily hours that complement out-of-school-time programming

Required

Experience and interest in working with youth in an enrichment, after school program, school age care context, or other related area
Proficient in Google Suite
Willingness to work after school and evenings and some weekends
Must adhere to performance guidelines
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal skills
Motivated self-starter and have the desire to motivate youth and families
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders
Excellent organizational skills
Understanding of Faribault Public Schools policies and structure
Proven customer service skills
Proven resourcefulness
Team player who possesses group-thinking skills
High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

AA degree preferred
Experience with Eleyo, Salesforce or other Community Education registration software preferred
Experience with Infinite Campus or other school district Management Information System preferred
