Responsibilities

Own the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing success of Spectra’s Solutions portfolio, starting with Object software and Tape solutions

Translate customer needs and market insights into clear solution direction and product priorities

Partner closely with Engineering, Solution Architects, Sales, and Marketing to deliver differentiated, market-ready solutions

Lead solution launches and lifecycle management, ensuring alignment across teams

Support sales and customer engagement through solution positioning, presentations, and direct customer interaction as needed

Build strong relationships with key partners and suppliers to support solution strategy

Contribute to the long-term evolution of Spectra’s solutions business as scope and responsibility expand

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred

10+ years of experience in product management, systems engineering, or solution leadership within storage, infrastructure, or cloud-adjacent technologies

Experience with object storage, backup/archive solutions, and data management technologies; tape experience preferred

Strong business judgment with the ability to balance technical depth and commercial impact

Comfort working cross-functionally and engaging with customers, partners, and senior stakeholders

Clear communicator with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to adapt as the role evolves
