Responsibilities
Receive and review incoming garnishment orders from various programs and agencies
Accurately enter garnishment details into payroll systems and ensure timely deductions
Coordinate payment processing and distribution to appropriate agencies or parties
Maintain detailed records of garnishment transactions and ensure confidentiality
Serve as the primary point of contact for garnishment inquiries from internal teams and external agencies
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding wage garnishments
Utilize tools such as ExpertPay and other payroll systems for processing and reporting
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with supporting payroll processing or garnishment processes for an employee population of 500–1,000
1+ years of experience with garnishments or tax levies
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in business or accounting preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
Experience with basic sorting/filtering functions within Microsoft Excel
Preferred
Familiarity with payroll processing systems such as ADP
Experience with tools like ExpertPay
Ability to collaborate effectively with HR and Finance teams
