The IT Software Programmer III will be a leading contributor to software development projects, performing programming and various software development lifecycle activities, while helping to establish ARUP software practices.

Responsibilities
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including coding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. These programs may include desktop applications, interfaces, web applications, stored procedures, or other software artifacts depending on specific job responsibility
Adheres to ARUP’s enterprise software development policies and departmental software development processes
Maintains expertise in applicable software development tools, techniques and environments
May help or mentor other project team members
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience and expertise in basic programming concepts within standard architectural patterns
Experience with and proficiency in more advanced architectural patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM)
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
Knowledge of SOLID programming concepts
Understanding of application security
Proficiency in Python
Ability to review, analyze, and modify programming systems including coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs
Adherence to ARUP's enterprise software development policies and departmental software development processes
Maintaining expertise in applicable software development tools, techniques, and environments
Ability to help or mentor other project team members
Ability to communicate frequently with others
Ability to conduct self in compliance with all ARUP Policies and Procedures
