2+ years expAkkodis is seeking a Data Center Technician (Junior) for a Contract with a client in Leesburg, VA. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on data center tasks such as replacing computer parts and installing ethernet/fiber cables while maintaining a clean and organized environment.

Responsibilities
Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the data center environment
Assemble/disassemble and populate/depopulate equipment racks as required
Replace computer hardware parts and perform basic repairs using hand and power tools
Run and install ethernet and fiber optic cables following defined processes
Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools for inventory and tracking
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in hardware handling or data center operations
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment with frequent bending, kneeling, and climbing
Basic knowledge of computer components and proficiency in common computer applications (email, chat)
