Shipping Supervisor

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the shipping team, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback
Plan and prioritize daily shipping and receiving activities to meet operational and customer requirements
Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA, and other applicable regulations for domestic and international shipments
Review and approve shipping documentation, including packing lists, invoices, and customs paperwork
Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipping issues and optimize logistics
Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records in ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
Collect and receive finished goods with flexible schedule
Monitor and maintain shipping supplies and equipment; escalate maintenance needs as required
Support audits and inspections by providing documentation and demonstrating compliance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in shipping processes and team efficiency
Perform other duties as assigned to support Supply Chain operations

Required

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED, an associate's degree is preferred
3–5 years of warehouse experience preferred, Cold Chain shipping preferred
3+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment
Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations (DOT, IATA)
Proficiency with ERP systems and shipping software
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
