The Waldinger Corporation is seeking a qualified Quality Engineer for their Des Moines Office. The role involves overseeing the quality and safety of construction projects, developing quality control procedures, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

Conducts job site inspections to provide support by observing and reporting the quality of the installation, control measuring and compliance to the contract specifications as well as construction codes

Assists team in problem solving as needed on the project

Performs material/equipment inspections to ensure product delivered is approved as submitted

Performs system verification on completed systems to assure correct installation per design specifications

Witnesses and documents testing as well as any other recordkeeping for the department as needed

Provides notifications to project team and Department Managers regarding findings, solutions, responsible party and deadlines for correction

Assists in the implementation of a company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, contract documents, etc. required to perform assigned work

Works with project team to document, maintain, and share lessons learned
