Regional Sales Director, South East US

Responsibilities
Owns the regional sales strategy aligned with company objectives, delivering sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
Identifies new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth vectors, developing both short- and long-term plans to capitalize on them
Evaluates regional performance trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions and resource allocation
Recommends new products, services, and go-to-market strategies with clear marketing, operational, and financial justification
Leads, mentors, and develops Regional Sales Managers and sales leadership teams, establishing a culture of accountability, performance excellence, and continuous improvement
Establishes regional sales targets, forecasts, and operating plans; ensures consistent execution across territories
Reviews and analyzes sales metrics, pipeline health, and customer performance to proactively address risks and opportunities
Drives disciplined sales processes, including territory planning, account management, and program execution
Partners closely with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and execution of regional initiatives
Collaborates with the Regional VP of Sales to inform enterprise strategy, share best practices, and support broader organizational priorities
Ensures consistent communication and alignment with Regional Sales and Operations Directors to drive execution excellence
Serves as an executive sponsor for key regional customers and strategic partners, strengthening long-term relationships and retention
Leads high-impact customer engagements, negotiations, and escalations as required
Represents the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer forums to strengthen brand presence and market credibility
Provides senior leadership with accurate, timely, and actionable sales reporting, forecasts, and insights
Owns regional sales budgets, expense management, and ROI evaluation for sales programs and initiatives
Ensures compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and operational requirements
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within the automotive aftermarket or a comparable B2B distribution environment
5+ years leading multi-territory sales teams or sales leaders
Demonstrated success driving regional revenue growth and exceeding sales targets
Experience working in highly matrixed, cross-functional organizations
Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
Advanced sales leadership and strategic planning capabilities
Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and ROI analysis
Executive-level communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to influence across functions and manage complex stakeholder relationships
Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive informed decision-making
Change leadership capability; able to lead teams through growth, transformation, and ambiguity
Deep working knowledge of automotive systems and the traditional automotive aftermarket, including WorldPac products and services
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM tools such as Salesforce, Cataloging Systems, Inventory Management Systems, and AS400
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Bilingual capability is a plus
