SharePoint Analyst – Intermediate

Responsibilities

Lead migration and decommissioning of complex SharePoint 2016 sites to SharePoint Online using ShareGate/MAP tools
Collaborate with project managers, migration leads, information controllers, and business stakeholders
Support SharePoint environments including SharePoint 2016 On-Premise and SharePoint Online
Perform business analysis and solution design for SharePoint Online implementations
Provide Level 2 & Level 3 technical support for SharePoint issues
Troubleshoot workflows, forms, permissions, performance, and site functionality issues
Participate in planning, testing, validation, and post-migration support activities
Design solutions using out-of-box SharePoint features and third-party tools (e.g., Nintex)
Guide business users on effective use of SharePoint for Enterprise Content Management
Validate and verify data accuracy during migration efforts
Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and change management processes
Support documentation, user acceptance testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Minimum 2 years experience as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator
Minimum 1 year experience migrating content from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online
Minimum 2 years experience troubleshooting SharePoint forms and workflows
Minimum 1 year hands-on experience using ShareGate
Minimum 2 years experience working on complex SharePoint projects
Minimum 2 years experience developing, integrating, and supporting Microsoft SharePoint solutions
Strong communication skills with experience engaging business and technical stakeholders
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in structured environments
Must be eligible to work in Canada and pass a standard background check

Preferred

Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Experience applying patches and updates to SharePoint environments
PowerShell scripting for SharePoint administration
Disaster recovery testing experience
Experience with public sector IT/IM environments
Experience migrating applications and integrated technologies
