As a Senior Systems Engineer - Infrastructure and Virtualization Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing network hardware and infrastructure server environments to support a robust forensic and investigative ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, design, develop, and implement additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems
Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations of network hardware and operating systems
Troubleshoot at both physical and logical network levels
Participate in planning, design, technical review, and implementation for new network infrastructure
Perform systems management and integration functions across multi-enclave environments
Maintain network infrastructure standards including communication protocols such as TCP/IP
Diagnose and resolve complex communication problems
Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assist with certification and accreditation tasks
Develop strategy for client/server systems and design infrastructure to support that strategy
Advise on the selection of technological purchases for processing, data storage, data access, and applications development
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities
Support DevSecOps practices and tools implementation
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph
This position is onsite 5/days a week in Chantilly, VA
May require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessions
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years' experience in systems engineering or related field
Experience with SAFe Agile framework
Understanding of forensic and investigative system requirements
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing secure systems in government environments
Advanced proficiency is required in: Virtualization technologies (VSphere, VXRail, Proxmox, Nutanix)
Advanced proficiency is required in: Network administration and security
Advanced proficiency is required in: Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)
Advanced proficiency is required in: Linux and Windows operating systems
Advanced proficiency is required in: Windows Active Directory
Advanced proficiency is required in: Network hardware (Cisco, Arista, SonicWall)
Advanced proficiency is required in: Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Advanced proficiency is required in: Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Advanced proficiency is required in: Security accreditation processes
Additional Technical Experience: Hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure
Additional Technical Experience: DevSecOps practices and tools
Additional Technical Experience: Elasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platforms
Additional Technical Experience: Automation and scripting (Python, C#)
Additional Technical Experience: Database technologies (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Additional Technical Experience: LDAP/OpenLDAP, ADFS, Keycloak
Additional Technical Experience: Tunneling protocols (GRE, IPSec, SSH, SSL)
