Responsibilities

Dr. Nakao will participate in a series of research studies characterizing the effects of different lipid-lowering therapies on coronary lesions using Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS)
The responsibilities in this research will include developing study protocols, creating and maintaining study database, quantitative and qualitative image analysis, statistical analysis, and manuscripts preparation
The main goal of the research is to develop personalized approaches to treatment of patients with cardiovascular disease using artificial intelligence in order to improve long-term patient outcomes
