Responsibilities

Serves as a resource to all team members and mentors new employees assigned to team
Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities
Provides guidance on business issues including financial and profitability analysis. Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation
Acts as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Corewell Health

Qualification

Financial analysisHealthcare finance experienceBachelor's degreeCertified Public AccountantLeadership experienceMaster's degree

Required

Bachelor's Degree Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
5 years of relevant experience finance, accounting, or related work
Formal or informal leadership experience Required
Must have proven finance experience working in a healthcare setting

Preferred

Master's degree in business or finance
Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan
