Responsibilities

Define the technical vision for a scalable data compute and processing platform
Build and optimize distributed systems for data ingestion, transformation, and compute
Prototype, iterate, and deliver robust tooling used daily by engineering teams
Collaborate closely with ML, analytics, and simulation teams to align capabilities to needs
Lead and mentor technical contributors in infrastructure delivery

Required

Strong experience with Python and distributed systems
Proven track record building scalable compute/data platforms (Apache Spark, Airflow, Kubernetes, Ray, Argo)
Demonstrated leadership in architecting technical solutions and guiding engineering teams
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred

Familiarity with ML pipelines and large sensor-derived datasets (ex: camera, lidar, radar)
Experience optimizing systems for performance and cost
Experience with C++
Masters or PHD
