The selected individual will be responsible for leading a team of production operators, operating and maintaining extrusion equipment, and collaborating with various departments to ensure manufacturing goals are met.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a team of 5+ production operators, ensuring daily manufacturing goals are met

Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain single-screw and twin-screw extruders for profile, sheet, and compounding applications

Perform setup and breakdown of extrusion/injection mold equipment and tooling, including die/mold design and prove-out

Collaborate with Engineering, R&D, and Quality to meet cost, quality, delivery, and safety targets

Support process engineers in developing and refining extrusion profiles and compounding programs

Maintain and update process documentation, setup sheets, and SOPs

Write clear, concise work instructions for operators to ensure consistent and safe execution of tasks

Use Microsoft AX and Apriso systems to update Bills of Materials (BOMs), production routes, and process flows

Promote a 'Safety First' culture through daily Positive Safety Engagements

Maintain 5S standards in equipment layout and workspace cleanliness

Collect and analyze process data using statistical tools (e.g., SPC, DOE) to optimize extrusion parameters
