Element U.S. Space & Defense is a leader in testing innovation, partnering with NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense. The Dynamics Technician II will perform tests and measurement tasks, ensuring proper setup and execution of tests while maintaining lab equipment and documenting results.

Responsibilities

Test Setup - Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment

Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data

Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager

Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies

Other - Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Under general supervision; completes intermediate technical and mechanical procedures, regularly interacts with clients, troubleshoots and reworks standard tests. Intermediate interpretation and analysis of test results

Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical & Dynamics principles, working knowledge of basic safety practices; basic understanding of AC/DC circuits

Able to use all standard Dynamics equipment; able to accurately capture necessary data

Basic MS Office skills

HS Diploma or GED

2-6 Years of experience
