They are seeking a full-time Industrial Wastewater Operator to manage wastewater treatment processes and ensure compliance with environmental regulations while supporting a food and beverage client in Crawford County, Illinois.

Responsibilities
Monitor wastewater treatment plant processes and equipment both manually and via SCADA automation, making adjustments as necessary to control their operation
Perform water quality sampling, testing, and analysis in a laboratory environment to determine compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Operate, maintain, control, and perform routine repair of plant equipment, including preventive maintenance duties
Utilize software programs for maintenance work orders and maintain all necessary records
General housekeeping/maintenance to keep plant organized and running efficiently
Qualification
Required
Experience in operating wastewater treatment plants in compliance with applicable local, state, and Federal environmental requirements
Ability to perform daily rounds and assist with equipment repairs
Skills in troubleshooting and correcting operational problems
Experience in performing water quality sampling, testing, and analysis in a laboratory environment
Ability to operate, maintain, control, and perform routine repair of plant equipment
Experience with preventive maintenance duties
Familiarity with utilizing software programs for maintenance work orders
Ability to maintain all necessary records
General housekeeping/maintenance skills to keep the plant organized and running efficiently
