The role involves meeting with clients to understand their mortgage needs, assisting with mortgage applications, and maintaining knowledge of the real estate market and mortgage trends.

Meets with and interviews potential and current clients to understand their lending needs including first-time mortgages and refinance of existing loans
Demonstrates knowledge and communicates effectively regarding mortgage options
Explains the differences between and approval requirements of various types of mortgages
Assists clients with completion of mortgage applications, inspecting completed documents for accuracy and thoroughness
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in the local real estate market; current and predicted lending rates; and changes in rules, regulations, and best practices of various mortgages
Develops and maintains contacts with customers, local realtors, developers, and builders to promote and encourage the use of bank services for residential mortgages

Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective business writing, time management and organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle detailed assignments
Ability to prioritize workload while meeting deadlines
Ability to communicate in writing and verbally effectively
