Finance and Business Specialist

The Community Education Building (CEB) was established to support the holistic development of Wilmington’s youth. The Finance and Business Specialist will manage financial processes, prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and support business operations while collaborating with the leadership team to implement strategic initiatives.

Required

Strong proficiency in Finance and Accounting, with experience in managing budgets and handling financial statements

Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with team members and present financial information clearly
Proven ability to develop and improve business processes for financial and operational efficiency
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and adept in managing multiple priorities
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Professional certification such as CPA or CFA is a plus
